Educational Programs
- CSP-Certified New Home Sales Professional
This course was developed to enhance the professional skills necessary
to ensure success for the on-site sales agent, as well as fine-tune the
knowledge to be a competent manager. This course is DRE-approved for
Continuing Education Credits.
- IRM-Institute of Residential Marketing
This four-course certification program is considered the ultimate recognition of the professional sales and marketing manager within the building industry. Completion of the four IRM courses qualifies enrollees for the CMP-Certified Marketing Professional designation.
- SMC Workshops
The Sales & Marketing Council offers interactive and informative,
mini-workshops to provide education on relevant topics for practical
application in attendee’s professional lives.
- Safety Training
The Safety & Construction Committee offers informational seminars
and training programs to address construction and job site safety
issues in the building industry.
Membership-Directed Committees
- Membership Committee
Establishes goals for increasing HBANC Membership by focusing on new
member recruitment through cultivation of prospective member Leads and
referrals generated from business-to-business networking and new member
referrals. This committee leads and manages the association’s annual
Membership Drive and partners with the Membership-Retention Committee
to present quarterly New Member Welcome Orientation receptions. They
advocate the “Members doing business with members” program.
- Membership-Retention Committee
Partners with the Membership Committee as association Ambassadors to
“Welcome New HBANC Members” and focuses on association retention of
current members, as well as helping to preserve the memberships of
members about to expire or encouraging reinstatement of members who
have expired.
- Associates Committee
Supports the Membership and Retention Committees efforts and presents
the annual members Tradeshow exhibition and the associations
VARA-Volunteer Appreciation and Recognition Awards annual event,
(formerly GREATS awards).
- PA Subcommittee
Purchasing Agents representing 20 Builder-Member companies support the
efforts of the Membership Committee and Membership Drive and the three
divisional BIDS-Builders interested in developing Subcontractors events.
